Our amateur-level daydream academy is re-emerging with a new initiative called Homeground Programme: Coming from a spoof of the Homegrown Program that we often heard about, this collection campaigns that football is a playground for all. Every grassroots program, in every football ground, in every corner of this country must always be a place where we all have fun.
Also in the bigger picture, The Archipel's homegrown talents itself have never been a problem for our football. Our national players are the clearest wellspring to achieve excitement for this nation, and this is a message to emphasize for us to be able to shoot-the-breeze at the world scene.
Behind the shirts:
- Clover Shirt: The Ivory-Green one wants to manifest good fortune. The shirt name itself is a symbol for faith, hope and love. A "Clover" is where we get the luck from.
- Le Racé Shirt: Circa 1996, Watching David Ginola wearing that iconic kit, we can’t decide if Ginola or the kit is more handsome. Racé means Well-Bred in French, and means Well-Made for us.
- Webb-Ellis Shirt: Historically, Rugby shirts are no other than regular football shirts. Because according to legend, Webb-Ellis, the founder of the sport, was just picked up the ball during a school football match and ran with it, which created the "rugby" style of play, not style of the shirt.
